Taven was built on the belief that your productivity data is sacred. We have designed the app so that we never have access to your tasks, notes, names, or email addresses. Your data stays where it belongs: with you.
We do not collect or store any of your task data on our own servers. Because Taven does not require an account to function, we do not possess your name, email, or any identifying information. ✓ Zero Data Tracking
Taven utilizes SwiftData for local storage on your hardware. If you choose to enable syncing, your data is hosted by Apple via CloudKit. As the developer, I have no way to view or access your CloudKit database — Apple acts as the secure host for your private encrypted sync.
The intelligence features in Taven are powered by models that run entirely on your device. Your tasks are never uploaded to a third-party LLM or external cloud service for processing. ✓ 100% On-Device AI
By storing data locally and in your personal iCloud, Taven gives you ultimate control. You can exercise your right to delete or modify data simply by managing your tasks in-app or deleting the app from your device. No formal request is needed because we don't have your data to begin with.
